Southampton Complete The Signing Of Salisu — Reports

By Daily sports on August 7, 2020

Southampton have reportedly completed the signing of Mohammed Salisu.

According to Sky Sports, the Saints have landed their man for around £10.9 million from Real Valladolid on a four-year deal, after triggering the release clause in the Ghanaian’s contract.

Salisu has been heavily linked with a move to St.Mary’s for the past month with Real Madrid, Everton and Manchester United having also expressed reported interest in the 21-year-old.

The Accra-born defender played 31 LaLiga games for Valladolid in the 2019/20 season after being promoted from the club’s B side last year.

Salisu has yet to play international football for the Black Stars having turned down a call-up in November last year.

CK Akonnor then left Salisu out of his squad in March citing that he was unable to make contact with the centre-back. (African Football)
