Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected a move to Napoli.
According to Football Italia, the 21-year-old will instead await offers from the English Premier League despite the Serie A side’s rumoured €50 million offer.
Osimhen was reportedly in Italy last week to visit Napoli’s management, but he remains hopeful of moving to England with Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester City and Manchester United all linked with his services over the last few months.
The Lille striker rose to prominence in his first season at the club, scoring 18 times in 38 games across all competitions during the 2019/20 season.
He only joined the French club from RSC Charleroi twelve months ago but has already caught the eye of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Osimhen has been equally as impressive at international level and has scored four times in eight appearances for the Super Eagles. (African Football)
