Bayern Munich are reportedly still keeping tabs on Morocco international Achraf Hakimi.
According to Marca, the German Bundesliga champions are “very attentive” to Hakimi’s future at Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old will return to Madrid following the conclusion of his two-year loan spell at Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2019/20 season. While Dortmund remain keen on luring Hakimi back to the club for next season, Hakami has expressed his desire to play for Real.
Bayern though have not given up on Hakimi, as they hope to strengthen their right-back position in build-up to the 2020/21 campaign and he remains a realistic transfer option despite his superb showing in Germany, with Dani Carvajal still Real’s obvious choice at right-back and thus the Spanish club won’t be able to guarantee him regular game time.
Hakimi has played most of his football on the right side of defence, but has showcased his versatility in Dortmund where he has featured in midfield and at the left-back position.
One of the fastest players in world football, Hakimi is a natural threat in attack and has scored nine goals and assisted 10 more in 43 appearances across all competitions this season. (Marca)
