Arsenal have reportedly given up on hopes of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to a contract extension and are now willing to sell their star forward at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Express, Serie A giants Inter Milan have emerged as frontrunners to sign the Gunners captain.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to accept offers of around £56million for the Gabon international after pulling out of contract talks with him late last week.
Aubameyang, whose current deal at Emirates Stadium expires at the end of next season, has also attracted reported interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United.
The 30-year-old has scored 20 goals in 32 matches across all competitions this season and has been prolific throughout his Arsenal career since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018. In total, Aubameyang has scored 61 goals in 97 games for the club. (Daily Express, UK)
