Tottenham Set To Sack Serge Aurier

By Daily Sports on April 24, 2020

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly look to sell Serge Aurier at the end of the season.

According to the Daily Mail, Aurier’s Spurs career may well be over after he was caught breaking coronavirus lockdown regulations for a second time.

Aurier and teammate Moussa Sissoko were forced to issue a joint apology and make a donation to the NHS after reportedly ignoring the social distancing guidelines.

The Ivory Coast international joined Tottenham from French champions Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017 for a reported fee of £23 million.

Aurier has scored six goals in 74 appearances across all competitions for Spurs with 33 of those matches coming in the current campaign.

The 27-year-old, who was part of the Ivory Coast team that won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, recently expressed his desire to return to PSG in future and hopes to finish his career at the Parisian club. (Daily Mail)
