Relief As Kwara United Winger Abdulsalam Abdulsalam Successfully Undergoes Surgery

Kwara United winger Abdulsalam Abdulsalam has successfully undergone surgery at the General Hospital Ilorin to the relief of his teammates and fans.

Abdulsalam had a fracture in Ilorin against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi and was rushed to the hospital after playing for only two minutes.

His injury brought serious tension and panic to his teammates, opponents and fans, with many of them rushing to the hospital to check on him after Kwara United’s 1-0 win over the visitors.

Kwara United Chairman Kumbi Titiloye, accompanied by GM Bashir Badawiy and Secretary Hamidu Olowo, were all in a happy mood when they visited Abdulsalam after his operation.

“We are happy that he had a smooth surgery and we hope that he recuperate fast for him to start training,” Bashir Badawiy said in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Kwara United are hopeful of leaving the drop zone when the League resumes with two home games against Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars.
