Juan Mata says everyone at Manchester United is very happy to have both Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo on board.
The Spanish midfielder was speaking after the pair made yet another impact in a victory for the former English champions.
Nigerian hitman Ighalo scored a stunning first-half goal set-up by Portuguese playmaker Fernandes in Thursday’s 5-0 win over Austrians side LASK in the UEFA Europa League clash.
Ighalo then fed Daniel James to double United’s advantage early in the second period in the Round of 16 first-leg encounter.
“It’s great to have Bruno in the team, and also Odion who is scoring in almost every single game that he plays,” Mata told the club’s official website.
“They’re great guys, and we’re very happy now with them in the team.
“I think we understand football in the same way. We like to play the same way, passing and moving and giving lines,” he added.
“We like playing with each other and looking for our forwards in behind like we did with Dan today and with Odion who scored a fantastic goal also.”
Ighalo has now scored four goals for the Red Devils since joining the club from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua last January. (African Football)
