SPORTS BANTER, a programme where sports fans discuss their favourite teams and stars, debuts today on the wave-making internet television, News Express Nigeria TV.

“SPORTS BANTER is our tribute to the dedicated fans without whose support no sport can survive or thrive. It is a programme where the fan is king,” the station’s CEO Isaac Umunna said.

He disclosed that the maiden edition of the weekly programme would go live at 11:00 a.m. Nigerian Time today, Saturday, February 22, 2020.

“The maiden edition is a lively and interesting one that pitches a Chelsea fan against his Manchester United opponent as they analyse their clubs’ most recent encounter, preview coming games and discuss the impact of stars, among them Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo,” Umunna said.

He advised fans of other major European teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City who would like to feature on the programme to get in touch.

“Though it airs 11:00 a.m. every Saturday, SPORTS BANTER is available 24/7 at YouTube.com/News Express Nigeria TV and on the Home Page of News Express online newspaper at newsexpressngr.com,” Umunna disclosed.
