30 Super Falcons’ Players Summoned to Camp for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Qualifiers

Rivers Angels goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi is among the 30 players called to camp by Super Falcons’ Coach, Thomas Dennerby ahead of Nigeria’s Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers against Algeria.

The camp will open today in Abuja with the players, who were expected to start arriving in the FCT from yesterday.Other goalkeepers invited for the matches are Jonathan Alaba (Bayelsa Queens), Christy Ohiaeriaku (Delta Queens), and Chiamaka Nnadozie (Rivers Angels).

The defenders in the squad are Glory Ogbonna (Ibom Angels), Chidinma Okeke (FC Robo), Abidemi Ibe (Bayelsa Queens), Ugochi Emenayo (Nasarawa Amazons), Margaret Etim (Rivers Angels), Maryam Ibrahim (Nasarawa Amazons), Maureen Okpala (Confluence Queens) and Joy Duru (Nasarawa Amazons).

The midfielders are Peace Efih (Rivers Angels), Osarenoma Igbinovia (Bayelsa Queens), Amarachi Okoronkwo (Nasarawa Amazons), Cecilia Nku (Rivers Angels), Adebisi Saheed (Bayelsa Queens), Cynthia Aku (Rivers Angels), Regina Otu (Pelican Stars) and Celine Ottah (Bayelsa Queens).

The attackers in the squad are Adejoke Ejalonibu (Nasarawa Amazons), Rafiat Sule (Rivers Angels), Joy Bokiri (Bayelsa Queens), Alice Ogebe (Rivers Angels), Nneka Julius (Edo Queens), Tessy Biahwo (Bayelsa Queens), Lola Phillip (Nasarawa Amazons), Celine Ottah (Bayelsa Queens), Rofiat Imuran (Sunshine Queens) and Joy Jerry (Bayelsa Queens). Nigeria will face Algeria in the first round of the qualifying series, with both legs of the fixture to be concluded between August 26 and September 3, 2019.

The Nigerian leg of the tie, which is the reverse clash between the teams, will hold at the Agege Stadium, Lagos. According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), all the invited players are expected to be in the camp located at Chida Hotel, Abuja today (The Guardian)
