Delta Force Win First Game, Beat Visiting Go Round at Asaba

Delta Force FC of Asaba on Sunday night defeated hard-fighting Go Round FC of Omoku by alone goal scored in the seventh minute of play by team captain Zaka Bala through penalty.

The team recently acquired by the Delta State Government dominated the first 30 minutes of the game but the rest part of the game was in the control of the visiting team.

Go Round came back in the second half to put more pressure on Delta Force but could not find the net as the defence and the goalkeeper were always alert to stop them.

Delta Force have three away matches in a row against Nasarawa FC in Lafia, Yobe Desert Stars in Damaturu and Gombe United in Gombe before returning to Asaba to play Abia Warriors in a Week 16 tie on April 21.
