Nigerian-Born Arsenal Grassroots Coach Hails Lacazette, Others for Dubai Visit

Members of the Arsenal First Team recently visited the Arsenal Soccer School in Dubai and they also played a friendly match against Al Nasr which ended 3-2 in favour of Arsenal.

The match took place at the newly renovated AL Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.

The School Coach Marcelinus Anyanwu said the visit of the first team players will inspire the players in the academy to give their best.

The Nigerian grassroots soccer tactician described the visit as a “great experience” for the young lads to meet and interact with the Arsenal First Team.

Alexander Lacazette advised the players to work hard and listen to their coaches in other to succeed as a Footballer.

Anyanwu, a former MFM FC of Lagos Assistant Coach who is popularly known as Marcelo Lippi, was named Arsenal Soccer School Coach in February after impressing at Universal Sports Club.

He was in charge of the U-16, Academy and the school league team, he won three trophies with the Universal Sports Club.

Anyanwu holds a Diploma Certificate in coaching and Training from the Nigerian Institute of Sports (NIS) and an International coaching certificate from the English FA and the Italian FA.
