New signing, Penda Bah, has described her move to Dream Stars Ladies as a fulfilment of a lifelong dream after completing her move from Interior FC of Gambia on a one-year deal.

The Gambian Captain teamed up with the Lagos-based team on Thursday after touching down at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport.

Penda Bah, who spoke to Dream Stars Ladies Media shorty after her arrival, said it has always been her Dream to play in the NWPL.

“I am very happy to be joining Dream Stars Ladies, I hope to bring my wealth of experience to bear on the team.

“I am here to help the team, together we can achieve our objectives,” she said.

Penda Bah, who plays as an attacking midfielder, can’t wait to make her debut in the NWPL.

“This is my first time of playing outside my country and I want to prove myself and repay the faith shown in me by the Management. It is a dream come true for me, I have been waiting for this opportunity,” she said.

Penda Bah made her debut for The Queen Scorpions of Gambia in 2017 and was named the captain of the team in 2018.

Penda Bah scored Gambia’s first and only goal at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan in 2012.

Dream Stars Ladies will be playing in the NWPL for the first time in their short history after gaining promotion last season.
