Odion Ighalo was on target as Changchun Yatai fell to a 2-1 loss against Chongqing Dangdai Lifan in Saturday’s Chinese Super League encounter.
The Super Eagles attacker could not save his team with his 21st league goal of the season as they conceded their second successive defeat at the Changchun's People Stadium.
Zhang Li assisted Ighalo for Yatai's consolatory goal in the 88th minute after Feng Jin and Alan Kardec's efforts in each half of the game was enough for the visitors to secure a win.
The former Watford talisman is now second in the top scorers' chart, with two goals behind leader Wu Lei.
Changchun Yatai remain unmoved in the 10th spot with 31 points from 27 games and they visit Shandong Luneng for their next league game on Friday. (Goal)
