It was a game to savour as Enyimba clinched their place in the quarter finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, reports Footballlive.ng.
The People’s Elephants returned to the Enyimba International Stadium for their final group C match of the CAF’s second tier club competition and earned a 1-0 win over Cara Brazzaville.
Wasiu Alalade was the hero for the two-time CAF Champions League winners as he struck at injury time much to excitements of dignitaries and fans at the newly refurbished edifice.
In the other group match, Williamsville Athletic Club drew goalless with Djoliba in Abidjan.
With the results recorded in the group, Enyimba ended up as group winners with 12 points, followed by Cara Brazzaville who picked nine points from six games.,(Footballlive.ng)
