The 2016 Paulson Football Academy National Under-17 Recruitment Trials for boys and girls has kicked off in Benin City, capital of Edo State.

According to the National Coordinator of the academy, Oliver Ndigwe, this year the trials will move from Benin (October 23 and 24 at Uwa Primary School) to Awka on October 25 and 26 and hold the trials at the Awka Township Stadium.

Said Ndigwe: “You see we are going around the country to get the best for the academy; because of our partners aboard, the train will move to Lagos on the 27 and 28 of this same October; the venue is Ajah Sports Ground, after Lagos Business School.

“We will end the first phase of the trials on the October 30 and November 1, in Kaduna and it will take place at Ugwan Yelwa Primary School, Sabon Tasha. Scholarship is also available for talented players and again the trials are only for those that register with the academy and those that make it will resume the academy in the second week of November before our playing tour and tournament in December.”
