The National Secretariat of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) wishes to encourage qualified and young members of the Association to participate in the Young Reporters Programme being organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Association of International Sports Press (AIPS) Africa and the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
To apply, the member must be between the ages of 18 and 24 years with proficiency in English language.
Importantly, the person must be a card carrying member of SWAN.
The Applicant will apply to the National Secretariat of SWAN who must write an official letter supporting the application.
The applicant will need to submit a write-up of no more than 300 words detailing his/her personal motivation on why he/she should be selected for the Young Reporters Training Programme.
The person must also attach a copy of his/her CV or biography.
