Super Eagles Supporters Club Hail Odion Igalo, The Patriot’s Move to Man U

By Daily Sports on February 3, 2020

I will start this piece by sympathising with this once upon a time promising country, truly referred to as the future of African continent  but which has become a shadow of  itself through self-inflicted injury piloted by self-serving politicians. These same politicians conspired and enthroned General Muhammadu Buhari, a tribal and an unrepentant Islamic fundamentalist, who against all odds never failed to disappoint by bringing to the fullest, his traditional belief or trademark of ruling the country with his Fulani tribes men and women that has polarised the country and of course he couldn’t care less.

As if such was not enough, he proved true to type by displaying his ignorance on the goings-on in the country while his attack dogs continue to claim he is in charge and yet he does not know that the level of insecurity in the country has reached such extreme dimensions. A supposedly Commander In Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces!

Buhari has without fail proved to the whole world that he is never in charge and in spite of all the damage control that his attack dogs like Shehu Garba, Femi Adesina, Lai Mohammed, Festus Keyamo etc have engaged themselves in, Nigerians now know better that Buhari is a head that is no head.

Buhari by his actions and inactions has already nailed himself or simply put, passed a vote of no confidence on himself even before the very erudite Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe spoke the mind of Nigerians and indeed the international community by telling him to resign.

Since that harmless advice, hell has been let loose by wolf criers all over the social and traditional media, over the patriotic call by distinguished Senator Abaribe. These wailers have been ranting like ants all over the arena for a simple and straight forward truth of the first order by an honest citizen who calls spade by its original name at all times.

It is also instructive to note here that so many have reduced the national issue to the level of the Senator’s State and other silly liberates like postures that have reduced the whole thing to these mischievous lots playing out the script of Buhari’s men. These bought overs that sold out completely because of ‘what the stomach will eat ‘are men and women like Lauretta Onochie, a slave in her country and first-class outcast in Igboland; colourless men and women that continue to ridicule themselves and all they represent.

Like APC, Buhari and his disgraced foot soldiers continue to wallow in darkness.  They are seeing as a victory, a very distinguished Nigerian footballer Odion Igalo plying his trade in China that got the attention of one of the best and traditional English Premiership side, Manchester United that snatched him away from his Chinese team on loan for the rest of the season.

The lad who just retired from international duty for Nigeria has been on fire and caught the attention of one of the best traditional and best followed teams in English top league. This is Nigeria that has been a laughing stock before the international community because of the misrule by Buhari who is using one section of the country to govern multi nationalities in the one country has been in the eye of the storm which brought the red eyes from the American government to place visa ban on the citizens of the country. Sadly, reports have it that Buhari’s government has set up a committee to look into the ban issue from America. What a clueless government mildly put.

The news of Igalo’s move to Man U brought some relief and good attention by the international community on the nation.  One must say that Nigeria would have become one of the great nations in the globe if the country was not grossly mismanaged and further being heavily divided by this administration.

As this is sadly what is left of Nigeria, our sportsmen and women have out of their individual determination brought honour and hold to the country. That was the honour ex-international Odion Igalo brought to the nation in a time when the attention of the international community has been negatively focused on Nigeria.

In a swift reaction to the good news, the President of Super Eagles Supporters Club, Prince Vincent Okumagba described the news as most welcome in time like this as it will help in no smaller measure to encourage the player’s teammates in the national team for optimum performance as qualifiers for AFCON 2021 and the Dubai World Cup summit in 2022 berths.

Okumagba urged Igalo not to relent as he keeps the Green White Green flag of the country flying highest. According to him, this latest move no doubt is timely and would provide a wider platform as the nation’s football continues to catch attention across the globe. He added that Super Eagles Supporters Club is solidly behind him and would celebrate his exploits.

The SESC chief insists that with this giant stride by Igalo as the first to ply his trade in the Man U from Nigeria further gives out the round leather game as one of the fastest-growing industry in Nigeria. He restated that he and his members would not relent in their total commitment and support to the national teams and its players.

As the Igalo Man U fate continues to trend, your most authoritative and influential digital all sports newspaper would, as usual, be on top of the good news so that our numerous readers would be fully abreast of the things around the player.
