Changchun Yatai confirmed their relegation from Chinese Super league after they suffer a 2-0 defeat in the hand of Dalian Yifang in Sunday’s final league clash.

Changchun Yatai will be playing in the second division status for next season as the case may be.

Ighalo who scored 22 goals in all competition for the relegated side was missing in action Dalian due to a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, John Mikel Obi’s Tianjin Teda was beaten 5-1 away by Guangzhou Evergrande at the Tianhe Stadium but survived relegation war after finishing on same 32 points with Changchun Yatai but they had a better record which was their saving grace. (Football Live)
