A first-half goal by Nigerian winger Samuel Adegbenro fired Rosenborg to their 26th Norwegian league title with a 1-0 win away to Start on Sunday.
The victory gave Rosenborg an unassailable lead of seven points at the top of the Elitserien with one game left to play.
The Trondheim side have 63 points after 29 games, with Molde second on 56 and Brann, who held a seven-point lead over Rosenberg at one stage during the season, third on 55 points.
The Rosenborg players danced in the centre of the pitch before celebrating with the fans who had made the 800-kilometre trip from Trondheim to Kristiansand in the south of the country to see their side win their fourth league title in a row. (Reuters)
