Pascal Durugbor can't stop scoring; hits 8th goal in 9 games in Sweden

By Daily Sports on June 10, 2018

Nigerian striker Pascal Durugbor is the rave of the moment in Sweden as he continues to deliver the goods of scoring goals for his club Vaxjo United on Sweden.

The former Rock stars Academy, Benin City product, who was discovered during the Tiki Taka pre-pro scouring exercise in Benin City last year, gave Vaxjo late winner at the weekend against Granshoms IF, scoring in the 90th minute of an entertaining encounter and that ensured  the home side stay on top of the Swedish third tier league.

With his hot scoring form Durugbor, whose game is based on a combination of intelligent movements and a cold-blooded stroking ability is heavily tipped for greatness in a bigger European club.

Also as Nigeria assembles a squad at the under 21 level in preparation for the FIFA junior World Cup next year, there is a big need to give the 19-year old Durugbor a call to the Flying Eagles team so he can try to translate his good club form into the Paul Aigbogun Junior National team.

Last weekend Durugbor scored in a cup match against Hovshaga AIF in a 3-2 win in the Hyundai Cup herr Cupspelet.
