Pascal Durugbor scores again for Vaxjo United in swedish Cup game

By Nelson Dafe on June 7, 2018

Nigeria’s Pascal Durugbor netted his 5th cup game goal for his Swedish club Vaxjo United as they went away to beat Hovshaga AIF 3-2 in the Hyundai Cup herr Cupspelet.

Durugbor who has netted 7 goals in 7 League matches for vaxjo is taking his scoring form to the Swedish Cup games as well.

First half score of the Hovshaga vs Vaxjo game was 2-1 to the visitors.

Daily Sports has been following the progress of the 19-year-old right from his days as a young prodigy in Benin City based grassroots outfit Rock Stars Academy from where he recently left (through Swedish academy Tiki Taka’s scouting program) to join Vaxjo in the third tier of the Swedish League in January.

Durugbor is a street-wise attacker who impressed Benin fans with a knack of scoring goals with seeming ease, and he’s exported this quality to Sweden.

As the Nigeria under 21 team takes shape, one name the Paul Aigbogun led technical bench might have to look at to make the Flying Eagles more competitive is that of Pascal Durugbor.
