Nigeria were crowned Africa Challenge Trophy champions after narrowly beating defending champions DR Congo in the final 27-26.

Meanwhile,hosts Rwanda’s U-20 handball team finished fourth at the Africa Challenge Trophy after losing to Senegal 37-39 on Sunday at Petit-Stade Remera in Kigali.
