Chukwu prays for Rangers revival

By Daily Sports on January 21, 2018

Enugu Rangers are still searching for their first win of the season and as they face Heartland in Owerri today, technical director, Christian Chukwu is hoping for a reversal of fortunes for the 2016 champions.

Rangers Rangers barely escaped relegation last season. They started 2018 with a defeat in Uyo to Akwa United and they lost 2-1 at home to Lobi last Wednesday.

“Sometimes things happen this way. The truth is that the season will end well for Rangers.

“It is good these things are happening now than later and I know the club can deal with it appropriately.”

Rangers coach, Gbenga Ogunbote also assured that the club will find its feet before long.

“The loss to Lobi will not affect us in our next game rather it will spur us to do better. Losing here will require us to go back home to work on our mistakes. “We don’t need to tell the players because they know we need to step up our game, otherwise we will be putting pressure on the team. With little patience, things will get better for Rangers,” he concluded. (Vanguard)
