Aigbogun eyes Enyimba’s return

By Daily Sports on October 29, 2017

Former Enyimba of Aba handler, Paul Aigbogun, is eying a return to the NPFL side.

According to SCORENigeria, Aigbogun who is widely touted to be the next Flying Eagles coach, is currently locked in talks with the Aba club.

“Paul (Aigbogun) is now discussing with Enyimba and they could conclude as early as next week,” an official of Enyimba revealed.

Two seasons ago, Aigbogun joined Enyimba from Warri Wolves.

He qualified them for the group stage of the CAF Champions League before he was replaced by Gbenga Ogunbote this past season.

Ogunbote is expected to shortly be named new coach of Enugu Rangers.

Enyimba finished third this past NPFL season and will feature in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
