Bala insists on top 10 finish

By Daily Sports on September 8, 2017

Niger Tornadoes head coach, Abubakar Bala is insistent on achieving the top 10 spot in the on-going top-flight notwithstanding the make or mar clash against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC).

The Ikon Allah Boys are hosts of the Oluyole Warriors in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) final day matchday 38 clash at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja.

Both sides need 100% positive result in the last season’s clash to guarantee its status quo in the top-flight.

Bala said his wards need to exercise the highest level of calmness and cool headedness in the expected crunch clash to get the job perfectly done.

“Nobody is considering Niger Tornadoes going down on relegation we are rather concerned and determined to meeting our season’s top 10 target.“

Truly, it’s a daunting task but we are confident to make it a reality with the last game against 3SC in Lokoja on Sunday.“

Although things have not been the same with us following the three unreplied goals loss at Akwa United in Uyo

.“However, I have no fear over our chances to survive the scare we found ourselves at the moment.“

We just have to keep our heads straight, calm and cool in the expected tough clash against 3SC.
