Bobby Clement pens for Al Arabi despite FIFA ban

By Daily Sports on September 8, 2017

Despite a FIFA ban on Kuwait, one of the country’s clubs, Al Arabi, have signed Enugu Rangers striker Bobby Clement. The big striker landed in Kuwait city Thursday.

Bobby Clement helped Rangers to an historic NPFL championship last October and his stocks improved after his goals in this year’s CAF Champions League against Egypt’s Zamalek and JS Saoura of Algeria.

He was previously widely linked with a move to a top Egyptian club, who were willing to splash as much as $300,000 for him.

The deal was on the table and it was for the player and his agent to decide. He has also attracted interest from Austria most recently.

SCORENigeria understands that Al Arabi should not be able to make any international transfers because of the FIFA ban on Kuwait because of political interference. (SCORENigeria)
