Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has revealed Vincent Enyeama will quit French Ligue 1 club Lille and he also said he expects the shot stopper to fully recover from a knee injury in three months.
Rohr also said the door to the Super Eagles is open to Enyeama after he quit international football two years ago following a major falling out with then eagles coach Sunday Oliseh.
Rohr said: “Unfortunately, he is injured, he has had operation for cruciate ligament, he will be out for another two, three months before he comes back to play.“
He has to also change clubs because his club have bought two new goalkeepers. It’s finished for him at Lille.
“If he is fit again, the door (to my team) is open for him. “We are in touch, we need the best players and the goalkeeper position is an important position.”
