Amuneke, Okunowo to miss Man United clash at Camp Nou

By Daily Sports on June 26, 2017

La Liga giants Barcelona have confirmed that retired Nigeria national-teamers Emmanuel Amuneke and Gbenga Okunowo will not be on parade at the Camp Nou when they take on Manchester United Legends on June 30.

Right wing-back Okunowo earlier informed allnigeriasoccer.com that he wanted to feature in the game, while ex-Golden Eaglets manager Amuneke ruled himself out because he's presently in Nigeria.

Twenty two former Barcelona stars have confirmed their availability for the charity match, including two ex-World Player of the Year Ronaldinho and Rivaldo, Patrick Kluivert, Davids, Julio Salinas and Popescu.

Berbatov, Fortune, Silvestre, Alan Smith and Dwight Yorke have been named in Manchester United's traveling party to Spain.

The return match will be staged at Old Trafford on September 2 at 3.00pm local time.
