Rangers ace, Madu links up with Russian club in Turkey

By Daily Sports on December 14, 2016

Enugu Rangers star midfielder Christian Madu is closing in on a move to a top unnamed Russian club.

He is presently processing his travel papers to Turkey, where he will meet up with the Russian club who are training there.

“I am set for bigger challenges in Europe, you will get to know as soon as I finalise my papers at the embassy,” confirmed the defensive midfielder.

Madu was one of the stars as Rangers ended a 32-year wait for a major trophy when they won the Nigeria league championship in October.

The player, who had to sit out the previous season after Giwa FC refused to sell him to Rangers, was Rangers most consistent player this past season.
