Eagles to get Tanzania winning bonus, ticket refunds

By Eagles to get Tanzania winning bonus, ticket refunds on October 7, 2016

Super Eagles have been promised the win bonus for last month’s AFCON qualifier against Tanzania, a refund of their flight tickets as well as camp allowances for the World Cup qualifier in Zambia.

These payments are to be made before the team fly out to Zambia early Saturday morning.

The Eagles pipped Tanzania 1-0 in Uyo early last month in a final AFCON qualifier, which was used by new coach Gernot Rohr to prepare for Sunday’s clash against Zambia.

On Wednesday afternoon, president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick, accompanied by NFF technical committee chairman Chris Green, made the promise to offset some of the monies owed the team ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Ndola.

He equally charged the team to get off to a winning start in Zambia on Sunday afternoon, while reassuring them of total support from the NFF. (mtnfootball.com)
