El-Kanemi Warriors dedicate victory over Niger Tornadoes to Governor Shettima on his birthday

The management of El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club of Maiduguri has dedicated the team’s victory over Niger Tornadoes to the State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, as he marks his birthday.

According to the Chairman of the team, Alhaji Zanna Kakaji Mohamed, the management is wishing the Governor many more years.

Said Alhaji Mohammed: “We are dedicating our last win to the Governor on his birthday, which is this week, and to the good people of Borno for their support.

“Governor Kashim Shettima has been the number one supporter of El-Kanemi Warriors. We are celebrating his birthday and praying to Allah to give him long life.

“So on behalf of the management, staff and players of the team, we wish him happy celebration. We hope to keep the flag flying in the league.”
