Exclusive: Mikel shows fine leadership quality in Dream Team’s USA Camp

By Nelson Dafe on July 27, 2016

Chelsea star and Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has joined the national Under-23 side in Atlanta, USA.

Reports reaching Daily Sports say that Mikel (who is one of the over-aged players drafted to boost the Rio Olympics-bound squad) has been showing his fine leadership abilities as he has mixed up well with his younger teammates.

In this photo, Mikel is seen sitting down in front of some of his teammates and smiling for a photoshoot.

Mikel missed the soccer event of Beijing Olympics in 2008 after a fallout with Coach Samson Siasia, but has since made up with the gaffer, under whom he will play in the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Olympics holing in August.
