Bruno Fernandes’ transfer to Man Utd changed my life – Fabrizio

By Daily Sports Nigeria on September 3, 2023

Popular Italian sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has said that the transfer of Portuguese international, Bruno Fernandes, to Manchester United, was one that ‘changed’ his life.

Romano was in a YouTube video chat with former English footballers, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards, on English football transfer deadline day, September 1.

He, however,  posted a retweet of the video chat on his handle on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, September 2, with the caption, ‘It was a real pleasure to spend 20 mins with @GaryLineker, @alanshearer and @MicahRichards, legends of the game. Thank you .’

In the video, the popular journalist said, ” There are a couple of scoops for me. The favourite one remains  Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United because it changed my life.

He stated that the reason  for that was because he “understood there was ground to make something special on European international transfer market.”

When talking about how he knows if players want to switch clubs. he said he texts some players while some others also send direct messages to him.

“Sometimes to ask information, or sometimes they tell me, Can you say something about me because I want to leave the club,” he shared.

Romano mentioned that, while he was playing a 5-a-side football game with his friends, he went to check his phone and then received a message that Zinedine Zidane, former Real Madrid manager, wanted to leave the club.

“To break the story was something incredible,” he said.
