By Daily Sports Nigeria on March 29, 2022

As the second leg of the crucial Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off continues today in Abuja between Nigeria and Ghana fans from all divides have given their thoughts on the now or never game urging Super Eagles safe gloves, Francis Uzoho to reenact the five star performance he displayed in Baba Yara Stadium Kumasi Ghana.

No doubt, the fireworks come alive again in search for the ticket to join other four countries that would represent Africa in the forthcoming global football summit, then the dice is cast as the hen must be home today to roost this time.

It would be recalled that the first leg in Ghana ended goal less in Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi Ghana.

The game has been attracting reactions from fans, pundits and sundry having field day as bookmakers smile to the Banks. It was against this background that Daily Sports went to town to bring some of these feed back from them to our readers.

According to Shobowole Adeniyi, Super Eagles played confidently and showed true sense of real business.   He added that from the signal of kick-off by the referee the Eagles ensured it studied and soaked off initial Black Stars threat and then come into the game decisively adding that such would be repeated today in Abuja where winner (Super Eagles) must emerge.

Adeniyi insists that if the boys would improve their shooting ability at goal today this second leg, then Ghana will be in for it.

He further observed that both the players and their handlers must repeat their business like spirit as was done s in Ghana and he prays that they will get is right as this leg will be more decisive and so nothing should be left to chance.

For Gloria Ibe, the Eagles will get it more right in Abuja. Though, this leg would be more tough, tactical, technical and thorough because a winner must emerge head or tail.  She warned against complacency on the part of the Super Eagles players and called for total concentration from start to finish.

Abdul Bello said that the game in Abuja will be tension soaked and the two gladiators’ will not give each other breathing space. According to him, what we saw in Ghana would be like child’s play. The players haven sized each other in the first leg must have now known each a bit which would further compound the encounter as tug of like. He tipped the Eagles to turn things around.

He called on the handlers to redouble their efforts to sharpen the shooting skills of the forward men so they can covert even half chance in front of Black Stars goal into the net.

From Benin City, comes report that the fans there are optimistic that the Super Eagles will pick the ticket as one of Africa’s representatives in the forthcoming World Cup tournament in Qatar.

Bernard Ikimi emphatically declared that the Super Eagles will triumph over their Ghanaian counterparts. The game in Abuja is obviously winner takes all affair and so Eagles must put in all within them gamely to get victory. The government and people of Nigeria are behind them, no shaking.

He stressed further that if the Eagles improved their game on Tuesday no doubt the obviously difficult game will go its way at the end of the day. The Ghanaians will not give Eagles any breathing space and the game will be too close to call too.

For Osifo Osas it won’t be business as usual. Eagles must brace up decisively in every sense of the word and confront Ghana frontally as the visitors will not be an easy nut to crack. They will come all out and their technical crew will definitely change tactics and even technical approach from what we saw during the first leg.

Brown  Osawere showered praises on the players for holding their own in Ghana despite frustration and intimidations’ from the host country.

He emphasized that the players held their heads cool and concentrated solely on the assignment at hand hence that great outing.

He hailed the goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho for his sterling performance to ward off the desperate Black Stars direct hot shots at goal. He said the Super Eagles players did well urging that more work must be done on the forward line before the second leg game, though short period but some good instructions must be passed.

In all, Eagles players must ensure they get it right from the kick –off to when the curtain will be drawn. The game will be do or die affair. The visitors will die on field playing to grab the ticket as their coach did say that his wards, Black Stars will pick the World Cup 2022 at the expense of Nigeria in front her fans.
