Chelsea Weighing Up Move For Ex-Man Utd Keeper Romero

By Daily sports on July 23, 2021

Chelsea are now considering a move for former Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

The Argentina international failed to make an appearance for United in the 2020/21 season.

He has now left the club after the expiration of his contract.

The Telegraph says the Blues are considering signing Romero as competition for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Blues released Willy Caballero last month and are in the market for a third 'keeper.

Romero made 69 appearances across six years for United and has 96 caps for Argentina. (Tribal Football)
