By Daily sports on July 16, 2021

Everton have made their first bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Toffees are looking to make a statement signing for new manager Rafa Benitez.

Koulibaly’s name has been floated in recent days, with Benitez previously working with the Senegal star in Naples.

Italian outlet Calciomercato says Everton have made their first offer for the 30-year-old.

The value of the bid remains unclear, but Napoli reportedly would accept an offer of just £35m
