Koulibaly Open To Napoli Exit

By Daily Sports on May 16, 2020

Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly open to leaving Serie A club Napoli at the end of the season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Senegal international is looking for a way out of the club amid growing interest in the burly centre-back.

The 28-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in world football over the last few seasons and has been named in the Serie A team of the season for the past four years.

Manchester United have been long term admirers of Koulibaly with English Premier League rivals Newcastle United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur also having expressed reported interest in him. Barcelona and Real Madrid are also possible suitors.

A stumbling block in any possible transfer, though, could be the amount demanded by Napoli for his services with Koulibaly valued at around €80 million.

Koulibaly has scored 10 goals in 233 appearances for Napoli and is contracted to the Italian club until 2023.(African Football)
