Former Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama seems to be considering a career on the golf course after sharing his first game as a golfer.
Following his return from a seven-month knee injury spell in 2017, the 36-year-old struggled to secure a first-team spot at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy and was released in August 2018.
He last played for Lille’s reserve team in their 3-0 win over Viry Chatillon in March 2018.After his long absence from football, Enyeama disclosed that he is aiming for a ‘positive return’ to football in January but it remains to be seen if that would happen after his first experience on a golf course. The former Nigeria captain has had an illustrious career between the sticks but it yet to be seen if he can make a name for himself by holding a golf club, aiming for the holes. (Goal)
