Nigerian football has entered “one chance” vehicle — Primate Ayodele •Berates Amaju Pinnick, makes case for Enyeama recall to Eagles

By Victor Enyinnaya on May 3, 2018

Patron of Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) and Spiritual Leader of INRI Evangelical and Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele (JP), has after taking a critical look at the retrogressive carriage of Nigerian football where he pointed accusing figures on the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, who he described as a joker to the administration of the game in the country.

According to him, it is highly regrettable that Nigerian football like the entire polity entered “one chance” vehicle that drives it round the vicious circle of doom.

“Let me emphatically say without any prejudice that if the game has had the opportunity of having great and imaginative administrator, its present very sorry sight would not have been so. I don’t care whose ox is gored Amaju Pinnick and his board are the worse so far; Forget about the ticket to the World Cup, we all were instrumental to it. If we had left it for him the case would have been like the two previous AFCON editions we were absent from.  We over looked his arrogance and careless talks that came off talking before  thinking and put our feet on ground, worked with selfless association, Nigeria Football Supporters Club to pray the Super Eagles through to the forthcoming Russia 2018 World Cup football summit,” he said.

Primate Ayodele who paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of NFSC to make donation in support for the a massive support for the Nigerian side in Russia called that the leadership of the NFSC be thorough involved in the scheme of affair in football administration and management in the country judging from the fact that it has over these years supported the Super Eagles around the globe and African continent.

“Without much ado, NFSC has proved beyond every reasonable doubt be the Most Valuable Ambassadors of the country’s football. Working selflessly and untiring too. It is open fact NFSC members use their money to make this trip with assistance from few individuals and corporate bodies. They stake their lives to ensure our team is give maximum support in match venues. No government remembers them instead of Amaju Pinnick to encourage them further divided Supporters Club that has done the nation proud. It is only in Nigeria that some people would wake up to disorganise and scatter a well thought out assembly of patriotic Nigerians without any just cause and everyone would act as onlookers,” he regrets.

The Church leader insists that Nigerian football has not been so lucky to have right people in its topmost cadre of administration regretting the way and manner with which Amaju Pinnick has been directing the affairs of the game. He observes that just anybody that mobolises support among the State FA chairmen, their secretaries and other equally myopic individual gets the nod to lead the supposedly viable body to state of nothingness. Such has been the lot of the federation.

He further pointed out the unconventional behaviour of Amaju Pinnick leaves sour taste in the mouth. He behaves and acts like an emperor. His actions and inaction has left the game into a one man show era. He posited that the real people that have contributed much into football in the land are totally left out but sadly the pretenders have been the ones come on board to ruin the most beautiful and followed game in the globe. NFF is supposed to administer by serious mind individuals with track records. Not just a nobody emerging from nowhere to hijack an agency ought to be for only the ready. He stated categorically that he is not a politician or in anybody’s pocket therefore he says it as it is. He repeated the call for the return of Vincent Enyeama to man the post for the team. He also added that the defence and striking force must be properly look into and fortified to be able to deliver resoundingly in Russia.

Primate Ayodele promise that despite these obvious shortcomings the game has found itself he will come prayer warriors to pray for the Super Eagles to go far in the tournament in Russia.
